Become the Cook of the Year

The Afternoon Show has launched a search to find the Cook of the Year! As well as some amazing prizes, the winner will be given a guest cookery slot live on the show! This is a chance not to be missed for fun 'foodies'! The contest will be judged by a trio of culinary experts; Proprietor of Dunbrody House and top TV chef Kevin Dundon, Irish food writer and author of the Little Black Book of Great Places to Stay, Lucinda O'Sullivan and Peter Caviston, restaurateur, top food supplier and proprietor of Cavistons Foods in Glasthule, Sandycove, Dublin.
All you have to do to apply is send a recent photo of you and one of your latest culinary creations or a video clip and tell RTE why, in no more than 100 words why you (or someone you know) should be the Cook of the Year!
