The Master of Pastry... called Michel Roux and I couldn't resist when I saw that the master himself published a book dedicated to pastry....the book is sorted into chapters covering one pastry at the time. Each pastry chapter has sweet as well as savoury recipes to use the basic pastry recipe. There is even a recipe for filo pastry.....and as much as I love making pastry, tarts and desserts......never ever will I make filo pastry from scratch. Puff pastry is hard and time consuming enough. Anyhow it is a great read as Mr Roux loves pastry and I believe there is nothing he doesn't know. I will definitely make the semi confit cherry tomato tart....the photo to this recipe looks just amazing and it makes me hungry
