Slow Food Event at Gort Na Nain

There are only a few spaces left for the tour through Ultan Walsh's vegetable farm. This is an event not to be missed (that's why I will be there).

Ultan will show us around his farm and tell us all about his beginnings. He is well known for unusual varieties (so you can expect more than just onions and cauliflower) and his knowledge is second to none. He uses only purely organic growing methods and will be happy to explain it all to us. We will also be treated to a lovely picnic which will be prepared by him and his lovely partner Lucy. He is such a good cook that Denis Cotter even used his recipes in his latest cookbook.

The event starts at 11:30 0n Saturday, 20th June. I know this is a bit early but it is the best time to snoop around the farm.
