Just a few things I came across the last few days....

• Martjin Kajuiter, headchef of The Cliff Hotel in Waterford has received his first Michelin Star...Congrats and I really need to pay them a visit

• The Cork Free Choise Consumer Group is giving a presentation on producing your own fruit. Con Traas fromt he Apple Farm in Cahir and John Howard of Sunnyside Fruit Farm will give you hints and tips on Thursday, 8th Jan at 7:30 in the Crawford Art Gallery Cafe. Entrance is €6 incl. tea and coffee.

• Bubble Brothers' first wine club meeting is taking place on Thursday, 28th in the Blackrock Castle. A full year membership is €200 (incl. 10 meetings) or €25 per meeting. More info here
